The Workshop

On Friday, September 5th I was the featured artist during The Dalles First Friday event at the downtown location of The WorkShop, an innovative space that houses 4 separate businesses owned by four different women. It was great to demonstrate my drawing techniques and interact with customers who got to see my artwork for the first time in the Columbia River Gorge area. I will be back to display my work during November and December First Friday in The Dalles.

Take A Class at Tokki Art Supply

My next class at Tokki Art Supply is September 13 from 11 am to 1 pm. This will be Introduction to Realistic Drawing 1.0. I will also teach two classes in October and two classes in November. The November classes will be titled Realistic Drawing 2.0: Beyond the Basics. The description of the content of the class will be in my October newsletter. Art Along the Rogue

I will be a vendor at Art Along the Rogue, a nationally acclaimed chalk festival held the first weekend of October. Extremely talented chalk artists work for three days on massive works of art on the streets of downtown Grants Pass, OR. The creative experiences start on Friday from 5 - 9 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday is the day that all the chalk artists finish their masterpieces, hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. There is live music on stage directly across from my booth the whole weekend.

This will be my fourth year displaying my art and demonstrating my pencil drawing on my easel during the event.

I will have two original drawings in this show and I will be available at this reception to answer any questions. The show will be hanging for a month at the museum.
