CLASSES
Kim teaches all levels of pencil drawing. Her specialties are textures
of all kinds, including skin, hair, clothing (particularly denim),
leather, metal and glass. Techniques will be taught and assignments
given in each weekly class. Special emphasis is given to learning how
to render reflective light, shadows, high contrast between light/dark
and drawing what you see, not what you know is there.
Classes are usually six weeks, two to three hours each week. They
are usually held in a great classroom in Medford, Oregon, but can be
held at any venue with tables and good lighting. Class size is 10 minimum,
15 maximum. Materials are the responsibility of the student. Space
in the class will be reserved only with paid tuition.

her find out the dates of the next classes. She teaches children, homeschoolers
and adults.
WORKSHOPS
Kim is available to teach one-day or multi-day workshops. All the
above subjects are covered at more depth. If you would like to schedule

Synopsis: INTERMEDIATE CLASS TOPICS - Learning about perspective
in live drawing, optical indexing, use of a model, how to use
a battery-powered eraser, custom cut stencils for repetitious
detail, learning to measure and enlarge with photo reference
and more difficult textures such as leather, metal and water.
Cost: $95 - paid by check or visa/mastercard (over
the phone, 541-878-2056 evenings, 541-621-6015 daytime)

10 with parents in attendance (no charge for parents) NEW STUDENTS

- one pen eraser (looks like a Bic pen and has a small eraser
at the tip)
- electric pencil sharpener (I will provide the extension
cords)
All these items can be purchased at Central Art Supply with a
10% discount when you mention that you are one of my students.
You can also find the supplies at Michael's or Craft Warehouse
in Medford.
Full tuition required before space in class is reserved.
