CLASSES Kim teaches all levels of pencil drawing. Her specialties are textures of all kinds, including skin, hair, clothing (particularly denim), leather, metal and glass. Techniques will be taught and assignments given in each weekly class. Special emphasis is given to learning how to render reflective light, shadows, high contrast between light/dark and drawing what you see, not what you know is there. Classes are usually six weeks, two to three hours each week. They are usually held in a great classroom in Medford, Oregon, but can be held at any venue with tables and good lighting. Class size is 10 minimum, 15 maximum. Materials are the responsibility of the student. Space in the class will be reserved only with paid tuition. WORKSHOPS Kim is available to teach one-day or multi-day workshops. All the above subjects are covered at more depth.
